Grant Air Source Heat Pump
Under the government’s Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) you or your business would be financially rewarded for heating your property using an Air Source Heat Pump.
Air source heat pumps (ASHP) are the new green alternative to your oil or gas boiler. A unit mounted on an external wall draws in the air and converts the heat within the air to usable heat which can then be used for your radiators or underfloor heating.
Although ASHP are powered by electricity they are classed as renewable energy because for every 1kW of energy used you could be producing 3kW of heat so therefore you would have 2kW of heat which is classed as renewable energy.
Hybrid ASHP are also available.
