What to Expect
Free survey and quote
Our trained surveyors will visit your home and carry out a survey of your property and provide a free quote.
Funding application
There is funding of up to £9,000 available through grants from Home Energy Scotland for installing a renewable heating appliance.
Preparing for install
Once you have accepted the quotation from MCA Renewables, you will be contacted to arrange a final technical survey.
Install Day
Our highly trained and expert installers will arrive at your property on the scheduled date and time to complete the installation.
Demonstration
Once your new renewable heating appliance been installed, it will then be demonstrated to you, so you can be 100% confident you can get the most out of your new system.
Aftercare
MCA Renewables can provide a service and maintenance contract at a reasonable annual cost. Ask your MCA Renewables contact for further details.
Biomass Boilers
Domestic Biomass Boilers are like regular boilers, the difference is the fuel used. Biomass fuels are wood products like logs, woodchips or pellets, that come from sustainable sources. Biomass fuel is usually cheaper than fossil fuels and so on top of being greener, could also mean cost savings. MCA Renewables have installed biomass boilers across a wide range of property styles and types throughout mainland Scotland, and we can advise on the best solution for your home.

Air Source Heat Pumps & Hybrids
An Air Source Heat Pump (ASHP) is a green alternative to your oil or gas boiler. A heat pump positioned on an external wall draws in the air and converts the heat within it to usable heat. This can then be used for radiators, underfloor heating, or to heat a hot water cylinder. Hybrid ASHPs are available for properties which are not suitable for a stand-alone ASHP. These work alongside an existing fossil fuel boiler where the ASHP is the primary boiler and the fossil fuel boiler is back up. MCA Renewables have installed ASHPs and Hybrid ASHPs across a wide range of property styles and types throughout mainland Scotland, and we can advise on the suitability of this for your home.

Solar PV & Battery Storage
Solar Photovoltaics (Solar PV Panels) uses it’s panels to generate electricity which can then be used in your home to reduce the need to import electricity from the national grid. With battery storage, the electricity produced can then be stored for later use, maximising cost savings.
